Farmer’s Market and Children’s Activity Fair is coming up on Sunday, March 19th from 10am to 1pm in the CCNS parking lot!
The annual Farmers Market at CCNS is a free event inviting families from our school and the broader community to come together and browse delicious food, hot drinks, fresh produce, gently used toys and more. Now in our third year, we have expanded to incorporate a Children’s Activity Fair to showcase local organizations that offer services and classes that benefit the children in our school and beyond. Drawn2Art: Drawn2Art is a privately owned art school, teaching traditional media. Students, ages 4 – 12, teens and adults, begin by using drawing mediums and then move onto painting. Students receive extensive instruction in the use of each painting medium, including color-mixing, painting techniques, and the proper use and care of materials. Simple step-by-step instruction avoids frustration, and makes learning enjoyable for all ages!

Tiny Treks: Tiny Treks is a 100% Outdoor Exploration program designed for Adult-Child early childhood experience.Through a rich curriculum they teach science, critical thinking, math, pre-literacy, social emotional development and exploration. They believe nature is the best classroom, and that kids learn most through experiential learning outdoors. Together, they lift logs, count ants, explore senses, dig in the mud, run through meadows, learn about birds and bugs, walk through historic farms, wade in creeks and, most importantly, nurture curiosity and instill a love of the natural world in our children.
Each week their Parent/Child programs feature destinations that explore our open spaces, bay lands, farms, creeks, forest, and more - rain or shine.
Their educators have extensive early childhood experience. They are energetic and can’t wait to share their love of the outdoors with you and your family. Tiny Treks offers small, school-year classes from September through April and short Summer Camps. They are a wonderful compliment to co-op preschools!
Bay Area Kids Dentist Sunnyvale: Bay Area Kids Sunnyvale is founder Dr. Radwan’s first office. As a pediatric dentist (children’s dentist), he opened it in 2008 with only 2 staff members at that time. Today, we now have more doctors working in the Sunnyvale office. It has 6 open-bay chairs and 3 private rooms. All chairs are equipped with in-ceiling Apple TVs where children can choose their own personal movies from their library of over 100 personal kids’ movies. We encourage all parents to treat the appointment as an adventure so kids will look forward to seeing us.
